Endace Wins At Computing Magazine's Security Excellence Awards 2025
AUCKLAND, New Zealand and LONDON – May 26, 2025 – Packet capture authority Endace today announced that EndaceProbe Cloud won the Cloud Security category at the Computing™ Security Excellence Awards 2025, held in London.
Computing's Security Excellence Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements of the security industry over the past year, rewarding companies, individuals, products, and projects in cybersecurity.
Judges reviewed the entries in the Cloud Security category for functionality, differentiation, and adoption. The criteria for entrants was to demonstrate how they help address the issue that while businesses are turning to the cloud for its flexibility and scalability, security fears are cited as the main barrier to cloud adoption.
In its entry, Endace highlighted why unified, always-on, packet-level visibility across both private and public cloud environments, including multi-cloud deployments is so important. As evidence, Endace described a recent use-case where its EndaceProbe Cloud product was used in a highly successful, global, nation-state cyberdefense exercise.
“Always-on packet capture is critical for threat hunting, incident response and performance management,” said Cary Wright, VP Product at Endace. “Winning this category, among strong competition, recognizes Endace’s commitment to providing the crucial reliability, scalability, and accuracy necessary to deliver unified, packet-level visibility across all environments: on-prem, private and public cloud.”
