IT Security Manager

Location: Auckland or Hamilton

We are growing our team and have a brand new opportunity for an experienced individual to be responsible for our operational security in a hands on role. The successful person will ensure IT security concepts are embedded in the business through work on process, policy and best practice, comprehensive vulnerability scanning and security testing frameworks and toolsets as well as being responsible for IT incident response and more. The role will also support compliance assessment and reporting, ensuring Endace can meet its legislative and commercial obligations as they relate to IT Security.

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful, you will be prepared to roll up your sleeves and shape this key focus area of our business, demonstrating your experience providing thought leadership to a technical team . You will also have

  • 5+ years in Information Security
  • Practical skills in incident response securing networks, applications and operating systems
  • Experience managing multiple technology suppliers to deliver an integrated roadmap
  • Ability to document and maintain policies and procedures
  • Solid knowledge of endpoint security, protection strategies, and forensic examination
  • A thorough understanding of network protocols and cloud security
  • The ability to travel as required.
