Global Support Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas.

Endace is looking for a Global Support Engineer to provide first and second level support across the entire Endace portfolio which includes network appliances supporting a range of monitoring applications such as IDS, flow analysis and capture.

You will be responsible for providing remote technical support on all Endace capture cards, probes, appliances and associated software, firmware and hardware as well as all network monitoring products to partners, customers and account teams. As a global support engineer it will be your responsibility to work with the customers and resellers on all reported issues until resolution while updating the customers and maintaining accurate support notes in the case.

Excellent understanding of Telco and IP Network systems is essential as is experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics. Good communication and customer service skills are a must. Ideally you will have a very solid understanding of IT server systems hardware architecture and knowledge of operating systems including Linux, BSD, and Windows too.
