SLA Monitoring and Assurance

100% accurate network data provides proof for SLA compliance measurement

Measuring performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

The use of service level agreements (SLAs) now extends beyond the boundaries and borders of the relationship between service providers and their enterprise customers. Large enterprise IT organizations must now deliver on SLAs that they have with their own internal customers and applications as well as holding suppliers to account.

When services fail between two borders of the network or between the network and the application, there is inevitably finger-pointing between departments and organizations as to the origin and cause of the problem.

EndaceProbe™ Network Recorders, EndaceODE™ Open Application Platforms and Endace DAG™ data capture cards can be used to capture and/or record data, inspect packet level information and rule out performance issues segment by segment or application by application. EndaceVision™ Network Visualization enables teams to examine events and drill down quickly to packet level to ascertain root cause, pinpoint where a problem lies and identify when SLA obligations have not been met. Endace's open API enables EndaceProbe customers to integrate SLA monitoring applications and automate the process of searching and retrieving network history relating to SLA-affecting events.
