Syslog Monitoring using Visualization Tools


This involves the development of a real time tool to allow users to create visualisation of critical and typical syslog statistics and metrics. You will provide a method of analysing system behaviour and performance over time and providing notifications and alerts of potential issues.

Candidates for this project should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • A sound understanding of Linux
  • Development experience with C, C++
