Every network is different. To ensure that we can deliver a complete solution we resell a range of best-of-breed accessories from our partners

To enable you to take advantage of the highly accurate time stamping provided by our DAG® cards, EndaceODE™ Open Application Environment appliances , EndaceProbe™ Network Recorders and EndaceFlow™ NetFlow Generators we also provide GPS Time Receivers, and our EndaceTDS™ range of Time Distribution Servers, which allow time signals to be accurately synchronized across multiple capture points simultaneously.


Transceivers

Transceivers are used to connect Endace products to your network. We supply a range of both optical and electrical devices covering all interfaces from 10Gbps Ethernet to SONET OC-192 to ensure you’re up and running quickly.


GPS Time Receivers

GPS Receivers

When used with DAG® cards and Endace Systems, the Trimble™ Acutime™ Gold GPS time receiver provides a highly accurate time signal source that can be used for synchronizing the accurate time stamping of captured traffic. It can be combined with our EndaceTDS™ Time Distribution Servers to provide highly accurate time synchronization across more than 500 DAG-based products.

The unit provides a highly accurate 1PPS timing signal to the Endace TDS-2 or TDS-24 Time Distribution Servers; it features a simple pole mount and is integrated into a single sealed weather-tight unit. This is an externally mounted unit that requires a clear view of the sky and is not appropriate for indoor use. When used with the TDS-24, the supplied Trimble Universal Interface Kit is required.


Time distribution servers

The EndaceTDS 2, EndaceTDS 6, and our flagship EndaceTDS 24 Time Distribution Servers provide a scalable solution to deliver high-quality global time synchronization signals that meet the requirements of your deployment.

All Endace DAG® products are equipped with a standard time synchronization input port, allowing the internal clock on the card to be synchronized to an external time source. When synchronized to an external standard, such as the Trimble Acutime GPS receiver, the time stamps of packets captured on different physical DAG cards may be accurately compared; for example, packets captured from both directions of a full-duplex link, or packets captured from geographically remote locations. These highly accurate time stamps can be used for QoS monitoring applications, bandwidth measurement, traffic engineering, and one-way packet delay and jitter measurement over long distances.
