Velocimetrics Joins Endace Application Dock Program

Endace Adds Real-Time End-To-End Trade Flow Measurement to Platform Capability

Auckland, New Zealand — Endace (LSE: EDA), world leaders in network monitoring and recording, today announced that Velocimetrics, specialists in real-time trade flow monitoring, has joined the Endace Application Dock Partner Program.

Velocimetrics offers trading companies a real-time view of customer trading systems, tracking end-to-end business flows right down to the individual steps of a particular price, quote or trade, front, middle and back office. It enables trading firms to make better trading decisions based on highly accurate near real-time network and application performance facts.

The Endace Application Dock Partner Program enables third-party application providers, whose tools rely on highly accurate packet capture and timestamps to test and verify the performance of their application on Endace’s range of high performance network monitoring and recording systems. Endace Systems are rapidly becoming the de facto industry standard for monitoring application hosting due to their ability to provide continuous 100 percent accurate packet capture at speeds up to 100Gb/s.

Kevin Formby, vice president of business development at Endace said, “We’re delighted to have Velocimetrics join the program and we look forward to building a profitable long-term relationship with them. Velocimetrics offer unique functionality that has shown itself to be of significant value to traders in both the FX and equities markets. We’re excited to be able to offer their application to customers as part of our range of monitoring and security tools.”

Steve Colwill, CEO at Velocimetrics said, “We’re excited to be a part of the Endace Application Dock Partner Program. The Endace Platform is the most accurate and powerful hosting platform that we’ve come across and we’re excited by the value it can create.” He continued, “In our experience, being able to alert decision makers on business impacting problems in the trading path is only part of the story.  Real value is created for users of our application by presenting them with a perfect record of all the packets that have been impacted, which enables them to trouble shoot more quickly and build more predictable and profitable algorithms.”
