We are currently looking for a Systems Administrator to provide operations and user support to (mainly) the USA and EMEA regions. If you are degree educated and have a broad base of extensive experience with building, maintaining and supporting computer hardware, software, networks and communication systems, this role may be the one for you.
Reporting to the IT Manager in Auckland, New Zealand, you will be a whiz at providing faultless support in a mixed system environment. Your friendly and open communication style and perfect written and spoken English will enable you to work easily with a variety of different people and departments internally. Your time and workflow management skills will be first class, and you will have no difficulty in setting priorities for your workload in this busy and technically advanced environment.
Technically, you will have experience with a mixed server and desktop OS environment, experience with DNS, DHCP, and Exchange etc. You will also need to have a strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and design, with practical knowledge of routing and routing protocols.
As part of the ITS team, you will be directly responsible for the maintenance and support of our global ITS infrastructure.
