Open platform optimised for parallel processing, enabling multi-Gigabit network traffic analysis
The Z series platform enables multiple applications to run in parallel each processing a fraction of the network traffic, accelerating analysis solutions by up to 8X. The hardware based data manager enables fine grained control on the delivery of data to each application to optimise the multi-CPU server hardware:
- Filter out unwanted traffic
- Classify by type or flow
- Allocate a fraction of the data to each application
- Efficient delivery of data to each application
With a standard server architecture and Linux Operating System existing software can quickly realize the benefit of parallel processing.
