New Endace CFO Designate Appointed
Endace Limited (the "Company" or "Endace") (AIM : EDA), a world leader in the acceleration of network security and analysis applications, announced today that Finance Director, Claire Mitchell, has resigned due to personal reasons and will be moving back to Australia. Ms Mitchell will continue to act as Finance Director to Endace until the AGM in June 2006, fulfilling responsibilities in her capacity as a Board Member and ensuring a smooth transition to the Company's new Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"). Also announced today, Endace has appointed Neil Hopkins as CFO designate, who will start on 1 March, 2006 and take over all financial responsibilities of the Company when Ms Mitchell steps down in June 2006.Selwyn Pellett, CEO of Endace, commented, "We would like to thank Claire for her considerable contribution to developing the Company and enabling it to achieve its successful flotation on AIM in 2005. Neil Hopkins was formerly Finance Director of Sony Music Entertainment (New Zealand) Limited for 13 years, responsible for financial strategy and organisation structure. Prior to that Mr. Hopkins was Audit Manager at Price Waterhouse in Auckland, New Zealand for three years, having emigrated from the United Kingdom in 1987. In London, Mr. Hopkins graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Kingston University School of Business, then trained as a chartered accountant and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1987.
