Endace visibility solutions are built on top of highly scalable, multi-application capable network monitoring and recording systems deployed from the edge to the core of the network as a ‘fabric.’ Systems are all centrally managed and work together to construct a truly accurate picture of network performance, IT service delivery, and network security threats.
Endace Systems
Endace Systems leverage the power of DAG® I/O technology to ensure 100% capture of all the traffic on your network regardless of your network’s speed, type, or topology. Every Endace System is designed to be centrally managed from a single location (typically a network operations center or a security operations center), with large fabrics often supporting several hundred systems.

System architecture and capability
Endace Systems are based on a traditional three-layer model comprising commercial off-the-shelf server hardware tightly integrated with proprietary DAG technology, our own proprietary purpose-built operating system and application layer comprising Endace Network Monitoring visibility modules and select third-party applications. EndaceVision sits over the top of the layers to provide the holistic network-wide window into the network through all of the layers below it.
It’s only by controlling, managing, and integrating all the layers of the architecture that a truly predictable solution is designed. Endace Systems support a broad range of different capabilities that help to enhance and improve the visibility that you can get into your network.
Endace Monitoring and Recording Fabrics
A Monitoring and Recording Fabric consists of multiple Endace Systems deployed across a network. Systems are right sized to the network segment to which they are being applied and are set up with the correct visibility monitoring modules and third-party tools pertinent to the visibility requirements.
A common, application-agnostic instrumentation fabric is proven to reduce operational costs, reduce capex expenditure, improve the reliability and predictability of tool outputs, and offer real application agility. Systems integration
An Endace Monitoring and Recording Fabric helps to support and feed a number of other systems that organizations use to manage their IT and networking infrastructures. With its flexible and open interfaces, Endace Systems have the ability to feed into a range of other business-critical systems, as well as to add value and extend the life of a range of other systems including higher level network orchestration systems and SIM/SIEM systmes.
