Introducing EndaceSensors

Real-time monitoring and analysis

EndaceSensors™ are single-application-capable monitoring and recording Systems providing 100% accurate packet capture at speeds of 10Gb/s and beyond with zero packet loss. They can be deployed as part of a centrally managed monitoring and recording fabric that delivers the power to see all across your entire network. Or they can be deployed standalone.

EndaceSensors support real-time, 'on-the-fly' monitoring and analysis of captured traffic, but unlike our EndaceProbe™ family, do not provide write-to-disk capability for long-term storage of captured traffic.

EndaceSensors are based on our unique, 100% accurate packet capture platform which combines our proprietary, high-performance DAG® I/O technology and powerful network Operating System (OSm).

Application options

EndaceSensors can run either Endace Security Manager or NetFlow, or host a single application in the Endace Application Dock virtual environment.

Deployment scenarios

EndaceSensors are designed to provide a cost-effective, single-application option suitable for deployment at the network edge, or where only a single network monitoring or analysis function is required.

For higher-speed core deployments, or where multi-application capability and/or traffic storage is a requirement, our EndaceProbe family is recommended.

EndaceSensor Series 100, 300, and 3000

Our 100 Series EndaceSensor is a 1U system supporting up to 4 x 10/100/1 GigE ports. 300 Series EndaceSensors support up to 8 x 1 GigE ports and 3000 Series EndaceSensors support up to 4 x 10 GigE ports.
