The panel will tackle a number of current issues relating to high performance trading:
- Is HFT creating a two tier trading environment?
- Does HFT lead to unduly volatile markets?
- What needs to be done to ensure that regulators can keep track of what’s going on?
- What is the importance of highly accurate latency monitoring and measurement and how can it properly be attained?
Along with the other featured speakers, Formby will help illustrate to the attendees how innovations in high frequency trading are in demand as a result of the rapidly evolving network and user requirements. The panel will help identify trends, such as the role that a monitoring infrastructure can play in preempting “flash crashes” and other market disruptions.
