Endace Reveals the Roadmap to 100 Percent Accurate Network Monitoring at 100 Gigabits Per Second at TIA 2011: Inside The Network
One Hundred Percent at 100 Gb/s Represents Company’s Vision For The Future
Auckland, New Zealand — Endace (LSE: EDA), world leaders in network monitoring and recording, today announced it will reveal its plans for 100 Gigabit network monitoring and recording at TIA 2011: Inside the Network in Dallas, Texas, May 17-20, 2011.
As the market for 40 Gb/s networking moves toward maturity, carriers, cable companies, ISPs as well as some very large commercial enterprises are already starting to look toward 100 Gb/s networks for both local metro connectivity and for long distance backhaul environments. As companies deploy these ultra-fast technologies, the need to monitor, protect and analyze them emerges. The complexity of these environments and the volumes of data involved mean the need for effective and accurate monitoring and recording is more acute than ever before.
Neil Livingston, chief product officer at Endace, said: “Our customers in the carrier, government and financial services markets have always been at the leading edge of connectivity speeds and many of them are now trialling these ultra-fast networking technologies. To ensure that they are able to extend their Endace monitoring and recording fabrics into these environments and continue to see a 100 percent accurate picture of everything right across their network, we have defined an exciting new range of Endace Systems called Endace Extreme, which will enable organizations to run the applications of their choice at 100 Gb/s with absolute confidence that every packet is being captured, analyzed and recorded.”
At TIA, Endace will unveil the Endace Extreme and showcase its capabilities. The Endace Extreme is expected to be available later in 2011 in both a single port 100 Gb/s Ethernet configuration and a dual port 40 Gb/s Ethernet configuration.
Over the last 12 months, Endace has seen rapid uptake in the adoption of its range of EndaceProbes and Endace Systems driven by the rapid growth of 10 Gb/s and a realization that without visibility of every packet organizations are exposed to significant reputational risk caused by data loss and poor user experience. The multi-application capable Endace Platform gives organizations confidence that every application is seeing a 100 percent accurate feed of data.
Endace will be discussing its 100 Gb/s roadmap at booth #1218 along with its complete range of monitoring and recording systems, which includes the EndaceProbe and the EndaceSensor.
About Endace
Endace provides open packet capture and analysis systems that form the basis for mission critical network security, traffic analysis and latency measurement solutions.
Endace Systems are purpose built to be deployed as a fabric, from the edge to the core of the network. Working in unison they provide a comprehensive monitoring fabric on which a range of open source, commercial or custom applications can be run simultaneously.
One hundred percent packet capture is now widely accepted as a non-negotiable input to systems that are being used to monitor, measure and analyze critical networks. Based on proprietary DAG technology, Endace’s systems have a global reputation for consistently capturing and analyzing 100-percent of network traffic.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Endace also has offices in the U.K. and the United States. Quoted on London's AIM, the stock code is LSE: EDA
