Endace Systems are purpose built for monitoring and recording network traffic at high-speed with 100% accuracy. Blending accuracy, predictability and flexibility they are the perfect foundation for modern network monitoring and network security solutions.
Every Endace System is based on the Endace Technology Platform, which combines proprietary DAG I/O technology and our own powerful proprietary network Operating System (OSm).
As well as supporting a range of native applications, Endace Systems also support a unique multi-application open-hosting environment – Endace Application Dock – which allows multiple network applications, running simultaneously, to access a single, authoritative and 100% accurate source of captured network traffic.
Endace Systems are the only truly predictable monitoring and recording systems for high-speed networks commercially available today.
The right system for the right segment
Recognising that one size does not fit all, we've designed Endace Systems in a range of different sizes and configurations to meet the needs of different deployment scenarios. There are four families of Endace Systems:
EndaceSensor
EndaceSensors™ are single-function, real-time monitoring and recording system. They can run any tool from the Endace Application Suite or a single custom or third-party application running in the Endace Application Dock. EndaceSensors are generally deployed at the network edge, or on segments where multi-application capability is not required.
EndaceProbe
EndaceProbes™ are multi-function monitoring and recording systems. EndaceProbes come bundled with our suite of core network monitoring tools – Endace Application Suite - and also support multiple third-party or custom applications through the Endace Application Dock.
EndaceProbes are generally deployed at the network core, or on segments where network recording is required.
EndaceExtreme - coming soon
EndaceExtreme™ Systems are designed for monitoring ultra-high 100Gb/s speed network segments. They can be configured to just monitor, or monitor and record traffic depending on the customer requirements. These systems are typically deployed in core data centre environments where multiple traffic sources merge and are the ultimate high-speed network monitoring systems.
Endace Capture Replay
Endace Capture Replay Systems are high-performance network traffic recording systems with flexible traffic replay capabilities. They are typically used in laboratory environments as test and measurement tools for validating and testing performance of specific systems and network elements. Capture Replay has broad application as a test tool in both network security and trading markets.
Accessories from Endace
We also provide a full range of accessories for use in deploying EndaceProbes, EndaceSensors, and EndaceExtreme systems. From time synchronisation servers such as our TDS-24, to a wide range of passive taps and switches, and GPS or CDMA receivers we've got it covered.
