Endace Appoints Vice President of Engineering
Endace Limited (the "Company" or "Endace") (AIM : EDA), a world leader in the acceleration of network security and analysis applications, today announced the appointment with immediate effect of Stuart Wilson as Vice President of Engineering.Stuart Wilson will be responsible for the Company's product development process. Based in Hamilton, New Zealand, Mr Wilson will manage Endace's world-wide development staff. He will work closely with Endace co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Professor Ian Graham, who will continue to focus on research and innovation for Endace.
Mr. Wilson has over 20 years of research, engineering design and management experience in the telecommunications and computer network industries in the USA, UK and Australia, including roles with Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies, GEC Research UK and Philips Australia. Mr. Wilson has successfully delivered many ground breaking products to market, more recently Agilent Technologies' 40G Routing Test solution which was developed in close co-operation with Cisco. In 2003 Mr. Wilson also led Agilent's successful acquisition and integration of Synthetic Networks Inc., a security test company based in Massachusetts, USA.
