Endace And Cace Technologies Enter Into Software Development and License Agreement

Auckland, New Zealand and Davis, CA, September 29, 2008 - Endace Limited (LSE/AIM: EDA, 'the Company', a world leader in network monitoring solutions, and CACE Technologies, Inc., creator of award-winning commercial and open-source network analysis solutions, today announced a software development and license agreement that has married the rich feature-set of the CACE Pilot™ traffic analysis, visualization, and reporting tool to the capture and processing power of Endace's NinjaProbe.

"Network Professionals worldwide are already intimately familiar with CACE Technologies," explained Mike Riley, CEO of Endace. As overseers of Wireshark, the world's most popular network analyser, CACE has developed exceptional products that enhance the network troubleshooting, monitoring, and management experience of the hundreds of thousands who use it on a daily basis. We are excited to be able to tap into their knowledge and expertise to add sophisticated and unique analytic capabilities to our leading multi-function probe and sensor solution, the NinjaProbe.

The relationship is already bearing fruit. Announced and demonstrated at last week's Interop New York, the Endace NinjaProbe incorporates a client-server implementation of the CACE Pilot high-level network analyzer to deliver intuitive drag-and-drop analysis of live and captured data. Capitalizing on CACE Pilot's tight integration with Wireshark, the solution also provides complete or filtered packet captures for immediate dissection by the industry's leading network forensic application.

Loris Degioanni, CACE Technologies Co-Founder and CTO remarked that Endace approached CACE to discuss a strategic development partnership once they had seen the power and flexibility of the CACE Pilot UI and engine. "Though initially released for local analysis, we designed CACE Pilot to allow for easy integration with packet capture devices and monitoring probes," said Degioanni. "By combining a client-server implementation of CACE Pilot with the superior capturing and filtering capabilities of Endace's NinjaProbe, we can now offer unparalleled speed and access to both real-time and historical network traffic data."

"We are delighted to be working with Endace," added John Bruno, President and CEO of CACE Technologies. "Endace's NinjaProbe is a high performance monitoring appliance that can write huge amounts of traffic to disk on links as fast as 10Gig. In coupling our respective technologies, we can truly deliver enterprise-grade analytics for operators where they want it, when they want it, and how they want it."
