DAG 7.5G2/G4 Network Monitoring Card
The Endace® DAG® 7.5G2/G4 Network Monitoring Cards, with Data Stream Manager (DSM), provide 2 or 4 Gbps sustained, lossless, traffic capture and inspection on 10/100/1000BASE-T and optical Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) networks. Leveraging the latest PCIe expansion slot technology, the DAG 7.5G2/G4 enables equipment manufacturers to develop solutions on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) servers that inspect all traffic for the purpose of real-time or post analysis. With synchronised sub-10 nanosecond time stamping capabilities, the card can be used to precisely measure network performance, identifying issues that may affect mission-critical applications and time-sensitive services such as financial market data distribution systems.

- Full line-rate traffic capture and filtering based on:
- Ethertype.
- Src/Dst Ethernet MAC Addresses.
- 5-Tuple IPv4 packet information (Src/Dst IP addresses, Src/Dst ports, protocol type and protocol flags).
- Non-blocking simultaneous capture and transmit.
- Link and filter statistics counters for reporting and analysis.
- Two-way CPU load balancing for increased processing performance.
- Precise packet time-stamping and clock synchronization by GPS for applications that require highly accurate measurements over long distances.
- Support for industry standard PCAP capture format (libPCAP / WinPCAP).
- Invisible to all other network elements with no MAC or IP Address assigned to the DAG interface ports.
- Relative timed data replay option enables precise reproduction of traffic conditions (TR-TERF).
