Phil Dean

Manager, Engineering Operations

Based in New Zealand Phil is responsible for developing the strategic operational direction, processes and systems for Endace’s engineering division. Phil joined Endace from PDL Schneider Ltd where he was a Project Manager and Design Engineer responsible for continual engineering/improvements on AC drive controllers.

Phil Dean has over twenty years experience in electronics design and project management. After serving as an electronics apprentice in the British Royal Airforce, Phil went to the University of Liverpool graduating with a Bachelors (Hons) of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Since then he has held a variety of senior engineering and project management positions in the UK at Kemitron and Blue Chip Technologies until he moved to New Zealand 4 years ago.

At work Phil has a passion for quality design and enjoys working with people to achieve objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. When not at work he likes to play the guitar and is an avid rock climber and mountaineer – something he’s had a passion for since a teenager.
