Endace is looking for a Software Engineer with at least 5 years experience in Windows® development to contribute to the DAG Card Team based in Hamilton, New Zealand. If you are our successful candidate, you will have a good understanding of computer systems and the interaction of software and hardware. In particular, you will have excellent C programming knowledge and ability with a clear, well-documented coding style; a proficient knowledge of the ANSI, POSIX and ISO standards as well as C Standard Libraries, including threads and sockets with priority on windows libraries; commercial experience of DDK for Windows; and be competent at programming and accessing hardware devices via configuration and register spaces.
This role is part of a dynamic team and as such needs a person who can work well with others in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with our Firmware and Hardware engineers on joint projects is an important aspect of this role. To ensure your success in this role, you will have proven excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as excellent debugging skills.
