About Endace
Most of our customers are large telcos, government agencies and financial services organisations. However, as network speeds increase, our products are also finding favour with large Fortune 1000 enterprises where the consequences of security breaches and data loss are equally as serious as they are for our telco, financial services and government agency customers.
Learn more about the innovative history of Endace.
Endace was born in New Zealand more than 10 years ago. Our aim in life is simple: to give our customers visibility into everything that’s happening on their mission-critical networks by delivering the world’s most accurate, open and predictable monitoring and recording systems.
Our expertise is in high-speed, lossless packet capture. We started life as an academic research project and have, over the course of the past ten years, evolved and grown into a global business listed on the London Stock Exchange with offices in the UK, USA and New Zealand. Our customer base spans the world and our products are used by some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated organisations, who rely on our ability to capture and analyse every last packet — regardless of speed or interface type — to protect, monitor and manage their networks.
Why customers choose Endace
Though our customers have traditionally been from the telecommunications, government agency and financial services industries, we’re progressively seeing more enterprise customers as they upgrade to 10Gb/s and look to ensure they can see everything that’s happening on their networks.
Customers use our solutions for a wide range of purposes – from security monitoring, auditory and regulatory compliance, monitoring and measurement (including quality of service [QoS], quality of experience [QoE] and latency monitoring), network analysis and forensics and many more.
The flexibility of the Endace Platform - our underlying high-speed monitoring and recording architecture - enables customers to run whatever applications they need on a common, scalable, open and flexible architecture.
The benefits
The benefits to adopting our next-generation network monitoring and recording architecture are that it enables our customers to:
- Reduce the risk of missing important events by ensuring every network monitoring and analysis application has a 100% accurate feed at speeds to 10Gb/s and beyond - which makes every application more accurate and valuable
- Reduce OPEX / CAPEX by consolidating system hardware – allowing multiple applications (custom, open-source or commercial third-party) to reside on the same system, sharing and leveraging the same source of 100% accurate traffic
- Reduce network downtime by speeding up the identification, investigation and resolution of significant network issues - improving customer experience and reducing risk to corporate reputation
- Improve operational efficiencies and lower management overheads by standardising on a common, centrally managed hardware platform across the network
- Adopt the applications that best meet their needs rather than being stuck with the applications that come with single-function appliances. Deploy applications faster than ever before
- Meet compliance requirements faster and more easily through a truly integrated platform.
